Open City Council Position

The City of Smith Center has a vacancy on the City Council due to the resignation of a member that no longer meets the qualifications to serve. The Mayor, with the advice and consent of the City Council, will appoint an Interim Councilmember to fill this position. Interested parties may complete the fillable form below, or pick up a form at the City Clerk's office, 119 W. Court Street.
All forms must be submitted to the City Clerk's office by 12 p.m. on Friday, July 19th to be considered at the July 22nd council meeting.
