Fireworks

Discharge of fireworks

Fireworks can be discharged between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 midnight.

During the allowed seasonal retail sales period for the State of Kansas, fireworks may be discharged on public streets, EXCLUDING MAIN STREET, ALL HIGHWAYS (West New York Street/K204, Main Street/HWY 281, and US-36), and the fire limits as described in Chapter IV, Article 1 (the business district). Fireworks discharged in public streets must not unreasonable impede traffic and all debris must be promptly and responsibly removed.
