Library

"A library is not a luxury but one of the necessities of life."  - Henry Ward Beecher

We couldn't agree more.  Come visit your local library.  A quiet place to study, relax, work or simply escape in a good book.  It's fun, the old fashioned way.

The library is open from 10am to 5pm on Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday and Friday and from 10am to 8pm on Thursday!

Check out upcoming events and news on our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/SmithCenterPublicLibrary.

Read the library's blog or call 785-282-3361 for more information.

FUN EVENT!!

The public library has a fun mystery in progress! A mystery mosaic is in the lobby of the library for the public to assist in solving the mystery. Stop in and ask the desk clerk for a sticker to place on the mosaic board. There are over 3,000 stickers to be put on the board. Join in on the fun today, and every day if possible!
